Job description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the entire engineering maintenance function at a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability of plant equipment by managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. The manager oversees maintenance teams, budgets, and resources while developing engineering quality management systems aligned with business requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and safety standards, minimizing equipment downtime, and improving overall operational efficiency. The role also requires strong stakeholder management, collaboration across departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through technical innovation, training, and performance development of engineering staff. Additionally, the manager supports audits, investigations, CAPA implementation, and ensures proper documentation and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.
