Associate Director

Job description

The Associate Director, Maintenance is responsible for leading maintenance, utilities, reliability, and facility operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operation of critical systems including HVAC, WFI, steam, compressed air, and process utilities. The position oversees internal engineering teams and external service providers, managing vendor contracts, KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics. The role involves driving asset reliability, maintenance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE and operational efficiency. Additionally, the Associate Director supports capital projects, facility expansions, and equipment installations while ensuring compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, audits, deviations, and CAPA systems. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration are essential to optimize site engineering performance and business outcomes.
